The Designer Emulation Kits (DEKs), created by Mark McKenna, pay homage to some of the greatest modern designers of our time. The lamps being "emulated" are examples of iconic designs.
Assemble an emulated lamp from a computerised circuit board, plug into a nine-volt battery and enjoy the gorgeous light. The light generates no heat and has an average lifespan of 50,000 hours.
*Battery not included.

DEK1
emulated designer: Ingo Maurer
emulated product: Lucellino
DEK 1 was inspired by Ingo Maurer's Lucellino. Why make it the first in the series? The originator of the DEK's, Mark McKenna, took his first professional job as a member of the Ingo Maurer team. It is only fitting to give props to the master.

DEK4
emulated designer: Achille Castiglioni
emulated product: Toio
DEK 4 is modeled after Castiglioni's Toio. It is the second Castiglioni Lamp to be emulated, but the fact remains that he was both prolific and a genius. The world is a poorer place without him. May DEK 4 serve as a tiny tribute.
